Student Exchange Programme between Kluang High School and SMPN2 Bandung in Kluang

Students from SMPN2 Bandung with 10 teachers stayed in Kluang for 10 days.Some of the activities :

- A visit to the Minister's Office in Putrajaya

- A visit to Melaka and Singapore

- Explore Race

- Cooking Class in the ERT Room (Eating is Believing Project)

- A visit to a Malay Wedding

- A Culture Show

A Visit from SMK Taman Pasir Putih, Pasir Gudang

Kluang High School had a visit from one of the new schools for the BCCC Programme. Students were given a briefing by the school's coordinator on how STK runs the programme and were brought to see the students' masterpiece and a tour around the school.

A Course on Hosting by ANGKASA Kuala Lumpur

 

Date     :     16 - 17 April and 18 Jun 2011

SMPN2 Students will be coming to Kluang in July and students need to know the skills on how to be a good host. 2 officers from ANGKASA Kuala Lumpur conducted this course for three days.

Student Exchange Programme Between SMPN2 Bandung and Kluang High School

 

Date     :     10 - 19 Mac 2011

18 Students and 9 teachers were involved in this programme. Students stayed with their foster parents and attended the classes there. Students participated in a lot of activities which included the "Eating is Believing " Project, the cultural dance and many more. Students learned about the Indonesian Culture such as their traditional food, dance, costumes and not forgetting the Indonesian lifestyles.

A Workshop by the Ernst and Young was given to all the members of the BCCC on Public Speaking. Students had fun and it helped to build up the students' confidence. Thank You to the British Council.

    

Skype Session with SMK Dato Onn.

This is one of the activities held in STK for students on how to use Skype as one of the tools to interact with one another. Had a session with SMK Dato Onn from Penang.
